Security forces have arrested 11 members of Jundallah Takfiri terrorist group in Afghanistan’s Northern Province of Kunduz.
In a Wednesday statement, Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security announced that 11 members of the Jundallah terrorist group have been detained during a raid in the Khan Abad district of Kunduz.
The statement added that a terrorist had been killed during the operation, without giving details about the date of the security action.
Various weapons and ammunition were confiscated from the group, according to the statement.
Jundallah has launched numerous attacks on religious groups, especially Shia Muslims. A bomb attack by the terror group on a Shia mosque in the Shakarpur district of Pakistan’s Sindh Province killed at least 60 people on January 30.
