A humanitarian organization warned that the health system in war-stricken Yemen is close to collapsing under Saudi raids.

Thierry Goffeau, the coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) or Doctors Without Borders in Yemen’s southern city of Aden, issued the warning after a 10-week mission to Yemen.

Meanwhile, Laurent Sury, the MSF’s head of emergencies, said transportation has been totally disrupted by Saudi Arabia’s continuing air raids, according to reports.

He went on to say that as many as 20,000 people had been treated for injuries in the country with only half of them having received treatment.

He further noted that the MSF’s clinics in the port city of Aden alone “receive nearly 350 new patients per week.”

The warning by the MSF comes as Saudi Arabia continues to pound areas across Yemen.
