Free internet service for pilgrims of Imam Ali, peace be upon him
The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has started a project to broadcast free internet service to the honorable pilgrims in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine throughout the year.
The official of the Information Technology Division, Karrar Al-Jawahiri, said in a statement, “After the successful experience during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage days and the days of the martyrdom anniversary of the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), the Division embarked on a project to broadcast free internet service to the honorable pilgrims in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine.”
Al-Jawahiri explained: “The service allows the honorable pilgrim to connect to the network for half an hour and communicate on WhatsApp, as well as browse the official sites and applications of the Holy Shrine, in addition to the electronic reservation service in the refectory (Mudheef) department.”
It is noteworthy that the Information Technology Division had earlier launched a free internet service for the honorable pilgrims during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine on the Ya Hussain Road – pole number 96.
