The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine’s Quran Department has opened a Quran-inspired art exhibition along the Arbaeen pilgrimage route, Iqna.ir reported. The exhibition aims to showcase the values of Imam Hussein’s (peace be upon him) movement through various artistic mediums.

Managed by the department’s Qalam Center, which specializes in Arabic calligraphy and traditional Islamic arts, the exhibition features diverse Quranic artworks from different countries, including unique sculptures by Indonesian artists. According to Wissam al-Delfi, head of the department’s media center, the exhibition’s purpose is to highlight the injustices faced by Imam Hussein (AS), the sayings of the Prophet’s Household (AS), and relevant Quranic verses.

Described as a cultural and artistic experience, the exhibition connects authentic art with the message of Imam Hussein’s (AS) movement, fostering awareness and interaction among pilgrims. It was moved to its current location near Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba township last Thursday and will remain open until after the pilgrimage. The display promotes Quranic identity and presents the movement’s message through an artistic blend of letters and colors.
