Imam Ali Holy Shrine provides security for pilgrims with 3000 cameras
According to the report by Shia Waves Agency, quoting Al-Sumaria News, the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali has announced that its administration has taken all necessary measures to ensure the security of mourners, pilgrims and Husayni Mawakib in the two months of Muharram and Safar.
The Alavi Shrine’s statement says: This plan includes the installation of more than three thousand CCTV cameras inside and around the Holy Shrine to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims and mourning processions and to monitor them and support these cameras with advanced devices to maintain their 24-hour operation.
The statement further notes: The task of inspecting baggage is carried out with more than 26 devices, while explosive detection inspection devices are also installed to ensure security.
It also adds that: In line with the services provided to the pilgrims at the checkpoints, charging outlets for mobile devices have been provided, as well as free internet services and free international calls.
