Karbala’s Al-Abbas Shrine Implements New Services to Facilitate Arbaeen Pilgrims’ Movement
——————–
The Holy Shrine of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has begun implementing new service projects in the area between the two holy shrines in Karbala as part of preparations to receive millions of pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to the official website of the Holy Shrine of al-Abbas, work has started on installing a metal pedestrian bridge near Bab Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him). The bridge was reinforced with iron sections before installation to ensure the safety of pilgrims and will be covered with black fabric in its final stage. The project aims to improve pedestrian movement and support crowd management during the peak days of Arbaeen.

In addition, the shrine has prepared electric vehicles to transport pilgrims within the area between the two shrines. The vehicle maintenance unit has carried out technical inspections and provided necessary spare parts to ensure safe and efficient operation, particularly for elderly pilgrims and people with limited mobility.

The measures are part of a wider service plan by the Holy Shrine of al-Abbas to enhance transportation, improve movement flow, and provide better facilities for visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
