Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges Shia followers of Ahlulbayt to effectively donate to charitable projects
The Supreme Religious Authority His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has reiterated his calls to the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to contribute to charitable projects and initiatives to help the needy, especially the families of orphans and martyrs.
In his recommendations published by the official website of his office, His Eminence described these acts as “the remainder of good deeds,” which will continue to benefit the doer after they die.
In confirmation of the importance of supporting charitable and humanitarian activities, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stressed that “It is time that we roll up our sleeves and donate for charitable projects and institutions”.
His Eminence added that “whoever cannot do it alone, let let them contribute and do as much as they can, in order to care for the largest number of people; in the midst of difficult living conditions,” pointing out that “this is the remainder of good deeds.”
It should be noted that dozens of charitable institutions and centers affiliated with the Shirazi Marja’iya are constantly working to help the needy in various parts of the world.
These efforts have been particularly important in recent years, as many countries have faced difficult living conditions and increased violence.
