India: Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Representative visits Fatimi Exhibition in Uttar Pradesh
As the Shiites around the world mourn the Fatimiyya and the martyrdom of the daughter of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his family, a large exhibition with a look at the life of Sayyida Fatima, peace be upon her, was held in the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Hujjat ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Mustafa Adib, Representative of the Supreme Shia Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadegh al-Hosseini al-Shirazi, visited this exhibition and appreciated the efforts made by its organizers.
Thanks to the efforts of the Indian Shiites, the Fiqh and Jurisprudence Institute has launched an exhibition entitled “Fatimi Exhibition” in Hussainiya Muhammad Ali Shah, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
In addition to depicting parts of the life of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, it also demonstrates some of the key events at the outset of Islam.
It should be noted that this exhibition is being held in Lucknow for the eighth year in a row, and has inspired similar events in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaunpur and Kanodar cities since last year.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Mian Abedi, one of the organizers of this exhibition, said in a statement that the purpose of the exhibition is to introduce a larger section of the society to the life of the Honorable Siddiqah al-Kobra, peace be upon her.
Abedi pointed out that many non-Muslims also visit this exhibition, and become informed about the events that happened at the outset of Islam. This, he added, can help them recognize the difference between right and wrong in this era, and understand true Islam.
According to the organizers, portraying these events proves to every visitor that the immediate and rightful successor of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his pure family, is Amir al-Momineen Ali, peace be upon him.
