Mosque holds first-ever Muslim-Filipino Museum
The Blue Mosque located in Maharlika Village, Taguig City of the Philippines saw on Thursday the opening of the first-ever Muslim-Filipino museum, a local news outlet reported.
The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) has helped establish the Maharlika Cultural Museum, that features the 13 ethnolinguistic tribes of Muslim Filipinos.
According to a high Government Secretary, the museum is both an honor and a symbol, which “allows the rest of the Filipinos to get a glimpse of the rich and multifaceted cultural, artistic, and historical heritage of the Muslim community.”
