Imam Hussein Charity starts its Qurbani 2023 Appeal

Imam Hussein Charity has officially started its Qurbani 2023 appeal. The charity which is based in the heart of UK, London has several different packages.

The packages include meat and chicken parcel for £20 which will be distributed in Shaam next to the holy shrine of Sayeda Zainab (peace be upon her) or in Karbala. A sheep for £190 distributed in Karbala, or you are given the option to sacrifice and sheep for £110 and it will be distributed in Afghanistan, and the final package is for £30 for a goat in Africa.

Iraq remains to suffer with significant challenges, including political and security problems, economic instability, social unrest due to high levels of unemployment and continuous low standards of living.

In 2022, around 460 million people in Africa were living in extreme poverty. The number of poor people on the continent increased compared to the previous years. With the added challenges of the pandemic, surging food prices and rising global inequality, the people in Africa are living with terrifying circumstances.
