Technical and Engineering Department at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine continues construction work of Al-Mukhayem Al-Husseini
The Technical and Engineering Department at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has continued its construction project of Al-Mukhayem Al-Husseini (the Camp of Imam Hussein) in the holy city of Karbala.
The head of Al-Mukhayem Al-Husseini Department, Haider Al-Mousawi, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency, that, “All works of expansion and ceiling of Imam Hussein Camp have been completed, in addition to the heating, cooling and electricity systems.”
Al-Mousawi added that, “The technical and engineering employees are currently covering the walls with the Karbalai tiles, and the shrine will be opened as soon as all construction works are completed.”
He pointed out that, “An area of 2225 m2 will be added to the shrine”, noting that, “The new construction works consist of three stories to accommodate the growing numbers of pilgrims, two separate large halls for men and women, in addition to the holy courtyard.”
