HRW: International law to guarantee free education is needed to expand education

The Human Rights Watch said in a report, on Tuesday, that access to free education is needed for sustainable development and for children to flourish.

The organization confirmed that although over 16 countries have adopted, since 2015, legislations to expand free education, more countries say that this is insufficient and are enacting national laws on this issue.

A new UNESCO report has found that countries with laws supporting free education have significantly higher rates of children in school.
