Global warming makes world’s floods and droughts more destructive

According to a research published on Monday, March 13, 2023 in the magazine “Nature Water”, the trend of severity of droughts as well as the trend of torrential rains has increased dramatically during the past 20 years, leading to the reduction of agricultural products, the destruction of infrastructure, the creation of humanitarian crises and even wars and conflicts.

According to reports, the fluctuating trend of torrential rains and droughts is increasing due to the burning of fossil fuels and other human activities that produce greenhouse gases.
