US: Islamic Burial Organization donates two plots of land to erect cemeteries

The Islamic Burial Organization (mbola), which was founded by a group of Shia followers of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, in the United States of America, donated two plots of land to be made as cemeteries.

The cemeteries named ‘Wadi al-Salam’ and ‘Wadi al-Hussein’ (peace be upon him), after the cemeteries of Shia Muslims in Iraq.

This initiative comes amid an increase in the number of Muslims in California and their need for a cemetery that follows the Islamic burial rules.

In a statement reviewed by Shia Waves Agency, the organization said that “After first cemetery of (Wadi Al-Salam) successfully built in the city of Laverne in (2009), the organization has built its second cemetery (Wadi Al-Hussein), located in the city of Pomona.”
