Iraq: ISIS terrorist arrested working in the “Chamber of Soldiers” west of Mosul

The Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday the arrest of an ISIS operative working in the so-called “Diwan al-Jund” or “The Chamber of Soldiers” while confirming the removal of 10 explosive devices west of Mosul.

“The Sinjar police directorate of the Nineveh police headquarters, based on accurate information, was able to capture an ISIS terrorist, who worked in the so-called “Diwan al-Jund” during the terrorist organization’s takeover of Mosul,” the ministry said in a statement.

The statement added, “The Sinjar police directorate, in coordination with the 15th Iraqi Army Division, cleared and removed 10 explosive devices with unexploded shells from the remnants of terrorist gangs in Qaboosiya area south of Sinjar district west of Mosul.”
