Morning Star Newspaper: The current tragic situation of the world is a result of wars, including the war on Iraq

A report by the British Morning Star newspaper considered that the current tragic situation in the world of poverty, hunger and wars is the result of the aggressive alliance of NATO, the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, and the destruction of Libya and Syria.
The report stated that the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine did not start in recent weeks.
It added, when people hear that the NATO alliance is defensive, as a British parliament member says, they should look at the reality that the aggressive wars of the United States and its NATO allies have caused a million deaths in Iraq and destruction in Afghanistan and Libya, and the increase in military spending is much greater all over the world.
The report went on to say that the expansion of NATO, an aggressive military alliance in relation to member states and on a larger geographical scale, has contributed to the situation we are in now and it is unfortunate that all this is lost in the current atmosphere of hunting for those who dare to oppose NATO, the militarism and chauvinism of the British government and the role of US imperialism on over decades.
