Protest in front of the United Nations office in Sana’a, condemning the continued detention of fuel ships by the Saudi coalition

The Agricultural and Fisheries Production Promotion Fund held the forces of the Saudi coalition, the United Nations and the international community fully responsible for preventing the entry of oil derivatives ships due to the consequent suspension of services in the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
A statement issued by the Fund’s employees, organized in cooperation with the employees of the Yemeni Oil Company, in front of the United Nations office in Sana’a, in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Engineer Abdul-Malik Al-Thawr, and the Executive Director of the company, Engineer Ammar Al-Adra’i, considered the United Nations a partner in the war and siege on the Yemeni people.
The statement stressed that the silence and inaction of the United Nations for years, regarding the siege and the arbitrary practices of the coalition countries in detaining oil derivatives ships, is a crime no less grave than the daily crimes committed by the coalition, the most recent of which is the crimes of the communications building in Hodeidah, the Libyan neighborhood in Sanaa, and the reserve prison in Saada.
The statement called on the United Nations, represented by its office in Sanaa, to carry out its tasks and exert maximum efforts to release the oil derivatives ships and secure their access to the port of Hodeidah.
The participants in the protest called on the United Nations and the international community to put pressure on the countries of the Al-Tahal coalition to allow the entry of oil derivatives ships, and to release the detainees from them, especially those with UN licenses.
He stressed the need to prevent the coalition and its tools from tampering with the oil sector, looting oil wealth and revenues, and depriving the Yemeni people of them.
