The International Sayyed al-Shuhada Committee, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in Kuwait, has put in its list of works the establishment and construction of the largest religious school in East Africa.
In a statement, the Committee stated that due to the importance of seeking knowledge, and based on the affirmation of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, on the necessity of learning and education, especially in the religious field, the Committee seeks to establish and build the largest religious school in East Africa.
The statement added that the school is located in Tanzania, on an area of 30,000 square meters, and will be blessed with the name of ‘Imam Ali School’. It will be the first large religious school in the eastern African continent, accommodating thousands of students.
