Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: The world today must know who Imam Ali is

The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, reminded Arab and Islamic governments of the great approach that the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, wrote during the days of his just government, the most prominent of which was the care of people’s rights and dignity and the fulfillment of their legitimate rights.
“The world today has to know who the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, is, and how his just his government was, in his fairness to people, securing the needs of the poor and needy, and fulfilling their needs,” said the Grand Ayatollah.
His Eminence drew the attention of Arab and Islamic governments to “the necessity of following the path of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, to ensure decent living for their poor people.”
The Supreme Religious Authority pointed out that “the great month of Ramadan and the tragic memory of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is the best opportunity to introduce this great human personality to the whole world, and what he presented during his life and his honorable government to serve religion and society.”
