“The injured were shifted to hospital by police after the explosion that occurred outside provincial communication department in Police District 1 of the city at midday. And the wounded were not in serious condition,” provincial police spokesman Jawid Basharat told Xinhua.
The target of the blast remained unknown and an investigation was launched by provincial police into the incident, the police official added.
One vehicle was damaged in the incident, he said.
Over the past few months, Afghanistan has witnessed waves of terror attacks by the Taliban insurgents and ISIS outfits.
