Imam Shirazi World Foundation calls on Shia communities to strengthen the scientific and cognitive movement of youth

On the International Day of Education, the Imam Shirazi World Foundation called on all members of the Shia community to the necessity of reflection and action to enhance the scientific and cognitive movement of adolescents and youth.
In a statement, the foundation said, “The international community commemorates the 24 January as the International Day of Education, after tens of centuries have passed since the tradition of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his progeny, “Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to paradise.”
It added, “Mankind has realized the necessity of science and strives to spread it, benefit from it and adapt it to serve humanity, and peoples and nations have realized that their salvation and prosperity can only be achieved through science and education, and ignorance is the abyss of nations, so there is no escape from sustainable dignity and unreserved rights except with science and knowledge.”
ISWF pointed out that Shias should push their adolescents and youth to acquire knowledge and its expertise, and to equip it as a weapon in the face of all the challenges they face, given the role of knowledge in the causes of their salvation and the development of their conditions at all levels.
The foundation concluded, “Adopting matters and facilitating the means for Shia youth to gain access to knowledge is a religious and moral responsibility that rests with everyone who can help to achieve this, from governments to organizations and institutions.”
