Indian Ambassador to Iraq expresses delight over visiting Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas

The Indian Ambassador to Iraq, Prashant Pise, expressed his delight at the honor of visiting the shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Karbala.

According to the Indian Embassy in Baghdad, the visit was significant and fruitful on diplomatic, religious, and economic levels.

During his visit to the city, Pise met with the Governor of Karbala, Nassif Al-Khattabi, and discussed facilitating the arrival of Indian citizens to visit the holy shrines.

Pise also visited the officials at the holy shrines and emphasized the desire of many of his countrymen to visit the holy city of Karbala and perform pilgrimage to the sacred shrines.
