Amid large-scale destruction, young girls in Gaza honored upon learning Holy Quran by heart

Despite the destructive Israeli war on the Gaza Strip in occupied Palestine, a school in the city of Rafah, located southwest of the enclave, celebrated the graduation of a group of female students who have memorized the entire Holy Quran.

According to multiple media outlets, “the Palestinian city of Rafah witnessed a joyful ceremony for a large number of young girls who have memorized the Holy Quran in its entirety.”

The reports further stated that “this blessed ceremony affirms the Palestinians’ commitment to the Book of Allah and the dissemination of its culture despite all the tragic circumstances surrounding them.”

It was mentioned that “the ceremony was hosted by a school in Rafah, which has turned into a shelter for several displaced families due to the Israeli bombardment on Gaza.”
