India: IED blast at café leaves 9 injured in Bengaluru

At least nine people have been injured in India’s tech capital when a suspected home-made bomb exploded inside a popular cafe, local media reported.
The blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in eastern Bengaluru occurred just after 1pm on Friday when crowds from nearby offices were lined up for a quick meal.
Bengaluru, known as “India’s Silicon Valley”, is home to many of the country’s top information technology companies.
