Media cooperation boost between Imam Hussein Media Group and Shia Holy Shrines Authority

A meeting was held on Monday at the headquarters of the Secretariat-General of Shia Holy Shrines in Baghdad between a delegation from the Imam Hussein Media Group and the Secretariat-General of Shia Holy Shrines, represented by the Secretary-General’s Advisor for Media and Relations, Mr. Thul-Faqar Al-Haidari.

This meeting followed up on a previous one between the Secretary-General of Shia Holy Shrines, Engineer Ali Abbas, and the Imam Hussein Media Group’s delegation led by Sheikh Abdulhamid Al-Amiri.

The meeting resulted in significant agreements aimed at enhancing media cooperation between the two sides. Imam Hussein TV was granted permission to record programs and conduct live broadcasts from 150 Shia shrines across Iraq.

The Secretariat-General pledged to provide official approval and issue directives to all shrines to facilitate the channel’s production efforts in multiple languages. Additionally, coordination was established to cover events at Shia shrines and disseminate news, activities, and announcements from the General Secretariat.

Attendees included Administrative Affairs Director Mr. Abdul Saheb Al-Kishwan and Legal Advisor Salah Al-Jashami. All parties emphasized the importance of this collaboration in highlighting the religious and cultural roles of Shia shrines in Iraq.
