Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges promotion of Ahlulbayt culture and rituals
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has emphasized the importance of spreading the teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, describing it as a major responsibility toward the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.
The Grand Marja called for utilizing media outlets such as radio stations, satellite channels, magazines, booklets, and other publications to introduce the world to the thoughts and teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
His Eminence also stressed the importance of keeping the flame of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, alive in households by holding Husseini gatherings, highlighting that every individual can contribute to spreading the Husseini culture based on their capabilities, emphasizing that such efforts bring blessings in both this world and the hereafter.
These remarks underscore Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s commitment to preserving and promoting Islamic Shia identity through the values and teachings of Ahlulbayt while ensuring their rituals remain vibrant in the hearts of future generations.
