Muslims in Canada launch a fundraising campaign for the largest hospital project

The Canadian branch of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) has launched a fundraising drive for the largest hospital project in the country.

In this context, the CEO of ISNA-Canada, Fauzan Khan, stated that they will donate a total of 5 million Canadian dollars within 10 years, according to the agreement they reached with Trillium Health Partners, the owner of the hospital project.

Khan said: “The name of (Muhammad) will be hung on the facade of the main building of the hospital”, noting that, “October is celebrated as the month of the Islamic civilization every year in Canada.”

Meanwhile, Trillium Health Partners President Caroline Riseboro said they are expecting a C$1 billion donation from communities in the country for the hospital, extending her thanks to the Canadian Muslims for their support of the project.

It is worth mentioning that the Indiana-based ISNA is a nonprofit organization that provides a number of programs and services to the Muslim community and broader society.
