Indian TV channel ‘Wion’ publishes documentary on Holy Arba’een

The Indian TV channel “Wion” has published a short documentary on the ceremonies of commemorating the Holy Arba’een of the Prophet’s grandson, Imam Hussein, peace be upon them.

The Indian channel said in its documentary, translated by Shia Waves Agency, that “Millions of Shia Muslims came from different parts of the world to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate this important anniversary,” describing the of Arbaeen Hussein this year as “the largest of its kind ever.”

The documentary gave a brief account of this religious and historical event, and interviewed a numbers of pilgrims coming from various governorates of Iraq and other Arab and Islamic countries.

Wion quoted some of these visitors, confirming that they continued to participate in the Holy Arba’een on foot on an annual basis despite the extremely hot weather and long distances, describing their participation.
