Honorable residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi holds mourning ceremonies on Imam Sadiq martyrdom

Crowds of believers attended the mourning ceremonies held at the honorable residence of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.

The correspondent of Shia Waves Agency in Holy Qom said that, “The mourning ceremonies were attended by the Supreme Religious Authority, scholars, religious seminary instructors, students of religious sciences and other believers.”

He added that, “The Husseini orators and preachers spoke about the honourable biography of Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him; his role in disseminating the knowledge of AhlulBayet, peace be upon them, and his school of thought.”

The attendees prayed to Allah Almighty to hasten the honorable reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him, to establish justice and to fight corruption.
