More than six million pilgrims commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali

The Secretariat-General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine reported that 6,391,390 pilgrims visited the holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Holy Najaf to commemorate his martyrdom anniversary, based on electronic counting systems.

Secretary-General Issa Mohammed Saleh Al-Kharsan confirmed the accuracy of the figures, extending his thanks to all contributors, including security forces, service groups, media outlets, and volunteers.

Holy Najaf annually welcomes millions of visitors from Iraq and other world countries for this occasion, with extensive security and logistical preparations ensuring a smooth pilgrimage.
