Grand Ayatollah Shirazi to deliver speech on martyrdom anniversary of Holy Prophet
The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, will deliver a special speech on the painful martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.
The official website of the office of the supreme religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, announced today, Saturday, that His Eminence intends to deliver a special address on the great tragedy of the martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him and His Family).
The official website of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi announced on Saturday that “His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, will deliver his speech at his blessed residence in the holy city of Qom at 1:30 PM Karbala time on Monday, corresponding to the 28th of the month of Safar al-Ahzan.”
In his speech, His Eminence will address the great calamity that befell the Islamic nation with the loss of its greatest Messenger, peace be upon him and his family.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s address comes as part of the commemoration of the painful tragedy of the passing of the Prophet of Mercy and Humanity, Muhammad al-Amin, peace be upon him and his family, and to reaffirm adherence to his noble teachings and instructions.
His Eminence repeatedly calls on believers to disseminate the biography of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and the immense sacrifices he made for all humanity by promoting his knowledge and humanitarian values.
Muslims around the world commemorate the martyrdom anniversary the Holy Prophet by holding mourning sessions, while the holy city of Najaf hosts millions of mourners gathering at the shrine of the Prophet’s successor, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, to offer their heartfelt condolences on this sorrowful occasion.
