Americans for Democracy and Human Rights Organization (ADHR) in Bahrain launched an international campaign to terminate Bahrain’s Interior Minister, Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, from office.
The organization stated on its website that the campaign comes under the title “Bring him to Justice”, and condemns the Minister as being responsible for the horrific human rights violations against political prisoners.
The organization highlighted the cases of 6 political prisoners of conscience, as it considered them the most prominent example of hundreds of Bahraini victims who were subjected to severe forms of oppression, torture, unfair trials, and other violations that the UN said may constitute crimes against humanity.
