Coinciding with Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage, Bangladeshi Shia reaffirm commitment to Hussaini rituals
With the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage approaching, thr Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, continue to renew their pledge and commitment to upholding the sacred rituals of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
According to Shia Waves Agency, citing local media outlets, these mourning practices and events are being held in conjunction with the anniversary of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The report noted that “during the mourning gatherings and ceremonies, Bangladeshi Shia reaffirm their commitment to following the path of the pure Ahlulbayt and upholding the sacred Hussaini rituals.”
It also pointed out that “mourning gatherings and sacred rituals are held widely across various parts of the country, including in the capital, Dhaka, where men, women, and children gather to remember the suffering of the grandson of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family.”
These events create a powerful image of strength, dignity, and sacrifice that faithful Shia exemplify as they remember their pure Imams, their noble lives, and the injustices they endured.
It is worth mentioning that millions of followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, from around the world are preparing to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein at his sacred shrine and the shrine of his brother, Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon him, in the holy city of Karbala.
