Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges writers to enhance detailed writing about Imam Hussein’s Uprising
As part of his lectures titled “From the Husseini Responsibility”, the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, emphasized the importance of enhancing detailed and comprehensive writing about Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, this year, surpassing previous years in depth and detail.
His Eminence stressed that writing about Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, should be profound and detailed, indicating that writers and authors must dedicate their efforts to providing details that highlight all aspects of Imam Hussein’s Uprising and its noble objectives.
The Grand Marja also called for renewing methods and developing content to be more attractive and effective in conveying the Husseini message to current and future generations.
On another note, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi emphasized the role of affluent individuals and those with financial capabilities in supporting Husseini activities, urging them to spend generously in the cause of reviving Husseini rituals.
His Eminence highlighted the need to utilize the mourning season and calamity to achieve the noble objectives of Imam Hussein’s Uprising, stressing that the Imams always encouraged people to revive the sacred Husseini rituals, renewing the call to keep these rituals alive and active. He emphasized the importance of believers enduring pressures and hardships to maintain these rituals.
It should be mentioned that these calls come in the context of the Grand Marja’s interest in spreading and promoting the Husseini thought and reviving the sacred rituals, especially in light of the challenges and pressures faced by believers in some parts of the world.
