Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation distributes over 3,000 items of clothing to orphans, need families in Holy Karbala

On the occasion of the blessed births of the Honorable Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and the joyful days of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development carried out a humanitarian campaign to help need and orphaned families.

The Foundation, one of the centers affiliated to the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, distributed clothing items to orphans and needy families in these blessed days in Husayniyah District in the holy city of Karbala.

Religious and cultural ceremonies were held to celebrate these joyful events; such as recitation of some Quranic verses of by a student from Dar al-Misbah al-Sha’aeri.

Mr. Salah al-Ghashami, legal consultant to the Foundation, delivered a speech on behalf of the Foundation, in which he conveyed the greetings of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi.

Al-Ghashami emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to continue these activities and events that serve our poor families in general and orphans in particular.

Mr. Hussein al-Adaly, head of the Foundation’s Public Relations Department, said that more than 3,000 pieces of clothing were distributed, covering hundreds of children and boys aged 4 to 14.

Mr. al-Adaly also thanked the Directorate of Youth and Sports for its cooperation with the Foundation and all the cooperating parties and personalities to serve orphans and needy families.
