“Who is Hussein” charity launches worldwide blood drive

In celebration of the blessed birth anniversary of the Honorable Prophet and his grandson Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq, peace be upon them all, the “Who is Hussein” philanthropic organization has launched a blood donation campaign through its global teams.

The organization said in a statement on its official Facebook page that “the blood donation campaign was launched in a number of countries around the world, with the aim of collecting blood to donate to patients and those in hospitals.”

The organization pointed out that “Non-Muslims also participated in this humanitarian campaign, motivated by humanitarian values and devine principles.”

It added that “in addition to saving people’s lives, the campaign also introduces the Islamic message of tolerance and the teachings of Ahl Al-Bayt, peace be upon them, emphasizing the necessity of extending helping hand to those in need.”
