Holy Karbala Government expects 30 million pilgrims during Massive Arba’een Pilgrimage

The local government of the holy city of Karbala has announced that it expects more than 30 million pilgrims to participate in the Holy Arba’een Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, from different countries.

The director of Communications and Media Commission in Holy Karbala, Tawfiq al-Habali, who was hosted on “A Way to Al-Hussein” TV show broadcast on Imam Hussein TV 2, said that the government expects more than 30 million pilgrims during this year’s Arabeen.

Al-Habali added that, “The official departments have begun their preparations for the Arba’een Pilgrimage since the end of the Tenth of Muharram ceremonies.”

The official revealed earlier that more than 600 Arab and foreign journalists will be covering the massive Arba’een, to convey the message, values and principles of Imam Hussein to the whole world.
