Abalfazl al-Abbas Holy Shrine holds international Ashura photography competition

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of Abalfazl al-Abbas Holy Shrine, peace be upon him, has launched an international Ashura photography contest around the world.

Ali Al-Jyashi, the director of this center, said: “The subject of the photography contest is limited to Ashura and it is an opportunity for the participants to visualize the spirit of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and express it through their artistic lens.”

He added: The photos are sent to the contest site for 50 photos to be selected by a jury of expert photographers with international qualifications.
