London-based Husseini Association to launch Massive Ashura March on Tenth of Muharram

The Husseini Association in the British Capital, London,in the British capital London called, on Thursday, to declare the Tenth day of Muharram a national occasion called the “Al-Hussein International Day” in the United Kingdom and all countries of the world, in honor of the painful anniversary of Ashura.

The Association called in a statement, received by Shia Waves Agency on, “all Muslims across the world and all Islamic centers, institutions and schools to participate in the Ashura marches on the Al-Hussein International Day”.

The statement added that, “Next Saturday, the tenth of the holy month of Muharram, which marks the sorrowful anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, London see a massive Hussaini march to remember the painful Ashura.”

The Association explained that, “The participants will be raising copies of the Holy Quran in condemnation of the recent Islamophobic burning of the Holy Quran and to call on the world governments to criminalize desecrating it.

It should be mentioned that the Husseini Association in London launch the Husseini March on the tenth of Muharram to recall the tragedy that befell AhlulBayt, peace be upon them, in that day.
