600 Husseini Mawkibs participating in commemoration of Ashura in Holy Karbala

The Husseini Mawakibs and Rituals Department, affiliated to Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, has announced that 600 mourning processions are participating in the commemoration of Ashura 2023.

The head of the department, Aqeel al-Yasiri, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency, that, “These processions have been given security permits from the Karbala Police Command and documents to facilitate their movement.”

Al-Yasiri explained that the time and place were identified by the department to avoid any problems when the processions begin their activities.
