Egypt: Following presidential decision, Mosques nationwide recite “Prayers upon the Prophet and his pure family”
Mosques across Egypt continue to implement the decision of the Egyptian President, FataAbdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the calls of the Ministry of Endowment, for the recitation of prayers and blessings upon the Prophet and his pure family, peace be upon them.
According to Al-Bawaba News, Muslims have continued to send prayers and blessings upon the Prophet and his pure family, on Fridays in a loud voice and for five minutes.
The news agency quoted the Ministry of Endowment as saying that, “The best way to pray upon the Prophet is what he recommends us to say – Allahumma Salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammadin, kama sallaita ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala aali Ibrahima innaka Hamidum-Majeed.”
In a relevant context, “Al-Salat ala Muhammad wa Ale Muhammad” Association, represented by Sheikh Hussein Bayomi, thanked the Egyptian President and the Ministry of Endowment on this historic decision.
The Association said in its statement that, “We are pleased to convey to you the happiness of the believers following this historic decision, which brings joy and happiness to the Prophet’s heart.”
