Pakistani mountaineer raises flag of Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein over peak in Nepal
Sajid Ali Sadpara, a Pakistani high-altitude mountaineer who recently summited the 8,091-meter-high Mount Annapurna in Nepal, raised the flag of “Ya Mazloum Hussain” on top of this peak, which is the world’s tenth highest.
Mohammad Ali Sadpara, the mountaineer’s deceased father, had previously displayed the same flag following his ascent to K2 peak.
Mohammad Ali Sadpara had successfully climbed eight of the 14 eight-thousanders on in the world.
It should be mentioned that many mountain climbers have climbed the highest peaks of the world and raised the flag of Abu Abdullah al-Hussein (peace be upon him) on several high-altitude summits.
On August 26 2020, the holy flag of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, was raised by a European couple on the highest point of Mount Elbrus in the Caucasus Mountains.
Also, on the second of December 2015, a Kuwaiti mountaineer installed the flag of Sayyid al-Shuhada and Hazrat Abul Fazl, peace be upon them, on top of Mount Everest to mark the occasion of Husseini Arba’een.
