American man admits links to ISIS, plans to attack Muslim mosque in Chicago
A 19-year-old man from US Waterville city admitted that he was planning to attack a Shia mosque in Chicago, and to provide material support to the terrorists, with whom he agreed to carry out the operation.
According to what was reported by (Spectrum News) followed by Shia Waves Agency, “the young man called (Xavier Pelkey) faces a 15-year prison sentence after he openly confessed to planning to attack a Shia mosque in Chicago.”
The report added, “Pelkey is one of the remote affiliates of ISIS, the terrorist organization, Abi, and he planned with two others to attack a Shiite mosque that they view as polytheism and blasphemy.”
It pointed out that “the young man was arrested last year, and he is currently being tried on charges of homemade explosives and planning to carry out terrorist attacks.”
