On ‘Intel Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism Conducive to Terrorism’, Nonviolence Organization calls for eliminating political extremism
The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) stressed the need for concerted efforts to prevent incidents of extremism and violence leading to terrorism, noting the importance of commemorating the UN’s ‘Intel Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism Conducive to Terrorism’.
The Free Muslim Organization, since its launch, has believed in the need to combat these dangerous phenomena and has made great efforts in this regard, and has since taken this name for itself.
In its message on this day seen by Shia Waves Agency, the Organization said: “This day, which was approved by the United Nations as a message to countries and peoples of the international community to as warning of terrorism and its repercussions on security and civil peace.”
It explained that “everyone is aware that the Russian-Ukrainian war represents an existential threat to the international community without discrimination, especially as it is on the verge of turning into a third world war that will be destructive, as nuclear and hydrogen weapons may be used and change the entire world.”
The organization considered that “political extremism and the apparent intransigence of all parties directly and indirectly involved in the ongoing war are among the most prominent causes prolonging and exacerbating the war.”
The organization’s message warned of the danger of blind extremism, which “has become a comprehensive phenomenon and is no longer restricted to groups and individuals, but rather extends to the international politics and superpowers.
