Martyrdom and wounding of four people in IED explosion at soccer field in Diyala

A local official in the Iraqi province of Diyala stated that an explosive device exploded in a soccer field in Qara Tabah district, northeast of the province.

Wasfi al-Tamimi, mayor of the Qara Tabah district (110 km northeast of Baquba), said that an explosive device had exploded in a soccer field  on the outskirts of the Qara Tabah district, killing a young man and wounding three others.

Al-Tamimi added that the security forces have opened an investigation into the incident.
