Arbaeen Walk 2022 in Majunga, Madagascar

Followers of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Madagascar organized an Arbaeen Walk in the city of Majunga.  

The Walk was sponsored by the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Shirazi.

Hundreds of Shias joined the Walk, which started from the Ahlulbayt Center and ended at the Office of His Eminence (about 5 km away), as they commemorated the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Mawkibs were spread along the way to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

After the mourners reached the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, a mourning ceremony was held and guest speaker Sheikh al-Nasir spoke about the Arbaeen and the virtues of its commemoration.
