Ahlulbayt lovers in Australia prepare to hold mourning ceremonies commemorating tragedy of Karbala

The Zainabiya Islamic Center in Brisbane, Australia, announced the completion of preparations to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the grandson of the Noble Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure family, Imam Hussein ibn Ali, peace be upon him, during the days and nights of the holy month of Muharram.

The center announced in a series of publications on its official pages on social networking sites, that “the mourning ceremonies of Imam Hussein, which will under the title ‘Labaika Ya Hussein’, will start from the first of next August until the thirteenth of it at half past five every day.” 

Mourning ceremonies will be established separately for men and women who wish to attend and participate in reviving these ceremonies.

The center’s invitation stated that “the religious lectures for the mourning ceremonies will be delivered in both English and Persian.”
