The Secretary General of OPEC visits the holy shrines in Karbala

The Secretary-General of OPEC, Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, and his accompanying delegation, visited the holy shrines in Karbala province.
The Iraqi Oil Ministry said in a statement that “Barkindo and the delegation accompanying him visited the holy shrines of Imam Hussain and al-Abbas in the holy province of Karbala.”
Barkindo had arrived in Baghdad on a visit that lasted for several days and included a meeting with a number of officials in the government and the ministry, in addition to visiting a number of religious and historical sites as well as holy shrines.
