The Misbah al-Hussein Foundation (peace be upon him) has launched the 10th edition of its poetry program “Arbaeen Platform”, coinciding with the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The program is organized in cooperation with Imam Hussein Satellite Channels as part of cultural and media initiatives aimed at commemorating the occasion and highlighting its literary and spiritual dimensions.

Running for 20 days, the program hosts a selection of male and female poets from various Iraqi provinces and several countries around the world, presenting poetry inspired by the events of Karbala, the Arbaeen journey, and the values of Imam Hussein’s movement.

The 10th edition features a diverse range of poetic styles, including classical Arabic poetry and popular verse, as well as different forms of performance, from narrative compositions to rhythmic and structured poems. Organizers said this diversity reflects the richness of Hussaini literature and the variety of its expressive traditions.

The program also includes interviews and discussions with participating poets, exploring the themes, symbols, and meanings within their works related to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), Karbala, and the Arbaeen pilgrimage. These segments aim to provide audiences with a deeper understanding of the literary and humanitarian messages conveyed through Hussaini poetry.

Through its 10th edition, the program continues to bring the spiritual atmosphere of the Arbaeen pilgrimage to viewers of Imam Hussein Satellite Channels worldwide, presenting Hussaini poetry as a cultural and artistic bridge for sharing the message of Karbala and commemorating Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
