Employing 70,000 Quran teachers in Pakistan’s Punjab province
The Department of Education in the schools of Punjab, Pakistan has announced that it has employed 70,000 teachers and schools for the Holy Qur’an for primary school students.
70,000 teachers of the Arabic language and the Noble Quran were employed in Punjab Pakistan, after the state’s Department of Education submitted a request that stipulated its need for Arabic and Quran teachers for fifth grade students.
The request was approved by the Prime Minister of Punjab, Osman Bozdar, to hire thousands of male and female teachers for the Holy Qur’an.
Officials of the Department of Education in Punjab stated that there are 7,000 Arabic language teachers under preparation. Despite this, the Department of Education in Punjab announced its need for more than 60,000 new teachers.
